Self-introduction and self-PR are actually completely different meanings? !
When looking for a job at a Japanese company, you will always be asked about your self-introduction and self-promotion.
This time, I will introduce myself and explain about myself.
A self-introduction is a brief introduction of yourself and your affiliation. Self-introduction is a complete summary of your name, current job (company, department, occupation, etc.), hobbies, special skills, etc. When the interviewer asks you to briefly introduce yourself, try to briefly convey these contents in about one minute. You are expected to tell us who you are in a concise manner.
Self-promotion is to express points that can appeal yourself when you are interviewed, and to explain your characteristics so that you can clearly see them.
The words are very similar, but the meaning and usage are completely different.
Make sure you understand them properly, use them properly, and make use of them in your job hunting activities.
